Umbrellas

‘Making functional objects beautiful’ is at the heart of my design ethos, combining this with 3D printing techniques, I have created a unique range of umbrellas. 

I describe the range as an eclectic fusion of print and form, Everyday items have been transformed into modern curio style handles,I believe nothing in design is new,however,things can look modern again when re worked, updated and put together.

My skull printed in 3D and the first prototypes of the handles.

 

Whilst some fabric prints pay homage to classic British tailoring others are more geometric and colourful bold repeat patterns.

Showing the handles in black also a sprayed metal finish.

Simple repeat patterns can also be unisex.
