About

After graduating from the RCA with a Masters in fashion design I went to work abroad for 11 years specialising in mens and womens fashion accessories and shoes.

Whilst designing products for brands such as Falke,Hugo Boss and Iceberg I learnt both German and Italian and developed my classic contemporary design signature.

Since returning to the UK I have worked with leading retailers including Aquascutum,House of Fraser,Laura Ashley and Harrods.

My interest in antiques and twentieth century design continue to inspire my work.

My journey
My Journey

In 2009 I was diagnosed with a rare form of melanoma occurring from a mole at the back of my eye.

After an initial biopsy I underwent 6 weeks of daily radiotherapy,

unfortunately this did not reduce the size of the mass.

In May 2010 I had orbital exenteration to my left eye,in a further operation I had the roof of my mouth and left upper jaw removed.

At this stage I was then introduced to Andrew Dawood who operated along with Proff Iain Hutchinson from Barts and David Verity from Morefields Hospitals.

Andrew had a model of my skull printed in 3D to assist with the operation where part of my scapula was transferred to form my upper left jaw and implants were added to that.

Since then I have had countless reconstruction procedures to improve the look of my face.
