Fashion designer, Josh Stephenson MA, RCA unveils elective 3d inspired umbrellas
I graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1990 and went on to work in the fashion industry in Germany, Italy and returning back to the UK in 2000.
I specialised in fashion accessories for both men and women and went on to design luxury gifts in my last job.
In 2009 I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma and went on to have radiotherapy which did not prove successful,I then had to have my eye, roof of my mouth and upper left jaw removed.
Despite my illness I have been inspired by the 3D printing of my skull to create a range of umbrellas.
My skull which inspired the idea of printing umbrella handles using the same 3D process.
